a week agoWe had a great hike here. I was so surprised by the large canyon in the middle. It was cool to hear the Hwy yet when we were hiking it felt like we were very far from the city.

a year agoThe name explains it! If you get on the dirt (and why wouldn't you?) The trail runs around a quite substantial valley! It's definitely deep enough that you wouldn't want to fall from its highest point. But it's is a very peaceful and enjoyable walk on a well traveled path. Lots of little turns, hills, roots, and different little bits of nature, make this hike a pleasure. Once you get by 210 highway, it's more noisy and you will observe the thrown trash and "stank" of humanity on this section of the hike. But otherwise, a great little trail and park that is a little off the radar unless you know it's there!

a month agoThe disc golf course is nice and the trails are long and enjoyable. They need to clean up the park area more frequently due to the folks that leave trash around. It is a good place to walk and play.

a month agoBeautiful, open are with concrete path. Dirt trails through woods for hiking. Covered pavilion next to a small playground. Great for meeting people. Disc golf if you are into that.

6 months agoThis is a beautiful park with something for everyone. It's located just a mile from Worlds of Fun. It has a nice walking trail across rolling Green hills, a playground for the kids, lots of room to run for both 2 and 4 legged kiddos, and restrooms. And right across the road is a large wooded area for the hiking enthusiasts. There is a covered picnic /seating pavilion and the whole park is well-lit, clean and safe. I highly recommend visiting if you are in town seeing the theme parks or hotels near them. It's a great place for the whole family and their pets to stretch their legs and enjoy the sunshine.
