a year agoTook a bit to get there with the bus, especially when the driver didn't know anything about the park, but found it after a half hour of walking. Several trails to walk, you really need good hiking shoes as the trails are very rocky, and some are slippery, did not see any wildlife, there is a bird trail with a wooden walkway, beautiful lake that you can sit by or fish, some benches along the way, trees were still mostly green. Will definitely go back with better directions. Update! Went back found the main entrance, could use better signs to show the way in. Saw an eagle catch a fish, saw a bluejay, still very enjoyable.

2 years agoWe went to this park first time on a Sunday afternoon. It’s extremely quiet and peaceful. Since it’s not spring yet, the park was quite empty. It would be a lot nicer in a few weeks. We definitely enjoyed our time hiking here, and plan to come back again soon. Highly recommended this trail to everyone, especially families with younger kids.
