a year agoHilton Head County Park is a great place for families to enjoy the mountain scenery while having the kids run from a two-story play structure to a pirate themed play structure. The park is located in Rancho San Diego and it’s definitely a fun one to visit. The park features a splash pad, multi-use sports field, basketball court, exercise stations, shaded picnic, walking path, benches, gazebos and barbecue areas. The splash pad is open 11a.m-5 p.m (May -October) The splash pad features a water shooter, sprinklers, and fun tip over water bucket. There are not many benches near the splash pad so maybe taking a camping chair or a picnic blanket would be ideal when visiting. Also water shoes are recommended because the floor tends to get very hot.

3 weeks agoCelebrated my friends kids birthday party. Never knew this park was here. No parking available, had to park in front of someone's house but it's nestled in a lil neighborhood so I believe that's common. Super cute park, clean, green a nice size to play and have a party.

2 years agoPlayground: Dated, two main structures for big and little kids. My kids had a lot of fun on the playgrounds as there was a lot to do. The flooring is rubber and sand. There was virtually no shade with very little seating. I can’t imagine visiting this playground in the summer because a lot of the equipment is metal and there is no shade, although the splash pad right next to the playground would provide some relief. Bathrooms: Port o potty’s and single locked stalls next to the playground. The bathroom was clean but smelled so strongly of bleach my eyes burned. Parking: Right next to the park in a free parking lot. Location: In a quiet suburban neighborhood with beautiful Mountain View’s. Safety: No unhoused, lots of trash throughout the park, plenty of people exercising and walking around.
