Hobbytown has been one of the best local sources for hobbies of all types, for many years. Although mostly known for their support of the RC hobbies (cars, trucks, boats, planes, etc.), they also carry a wonderful array of paints, puzzles, and modeling supplies. The staff is helpful and pleasant (who wouldn't be happy working in a hobby shop??) The service is great. Before you order parts from one of the online shops, stop by this store for the the stuff to support your hobbies!! Definitely worth the visit!

My bf and his friend got RC cars from here and every time we come in the staff and the manager Chris is always a big help! I like to buy the model cars so if anyone looking for the Tamiya paint, these guys have it cheaper than Amazon. Definitely recommend for all your hobby needs and we love coming here! *this is my totally honest review just because it’s always an awesome helpful experience when we have come in**

I dropped my slash off here for wire managment they then proceded to break wires and and lose pieces of my car then replace them with homemade part and most of staff is rude had been coming here for years (just realized I could edit reviews) But my dad never came in the store, I never demanded money, I requested a replacement receiver box or refund, never insulted anyone I had even emailed the gmail after the response to check the security cameras if they are so adamant that I was rude (which I was not) The team handled the manner in unprofessional way, the car was dropped off complete and the job was to assemble the receiver box and wire management, but the first time I came to pick it up the light wire was broke and not everything was plugged in so I requested them to complete the job which the manager agreed with, but when I came to pick it up a second time I noticed the wire poking out instead of gasket and the screws were different and not the right size so I requested that the original gasket and screws that I dropped off should be installed or replaced if lost to which they refused.

Had a grub screw on my brand new Senton back out and get caught in the motor. Chris tore it apart and fixed it in no time. Great shop! And Fantastic customer support. HIGHLY recommend to any and all hobby fans out there.

Truly, one of the best hobby Shops in Fresno for all your local RC. My first time going to buy an RC I didn’t feel like I was belittled but more uplifted into the hobby. Everyone was accepting and the managers till this day have been nothing but kind. They give you great advice on either budget or if you want to be a little more expensive. They also have an incredible community that has been building up And their indoor RC Crawler course is fun and challenging! I will forever be thankful for this local shop and all that they do for us collectors.
