9 months agoI just came off the Green River with Holiday. Four days in the Gates of Ladore. Our guides were Amazing! Ben, London, Ellie & Sid. What a great trip! Holiday is awesome. Love this company and their expertise. We had a very diverse group and I feel like we all came out as life-long friends. The guides know their stuff. They were able to answer questions about geology, ecology, history (both modern and ancient), the river itself and it's rapids. They shared a ton of fun stories, excerpts from books, and even poems. They knew the river (and the rapids) like they were a part of it, and it was a part of them. The guides worked 24/7 to make this trip amazing. I'm not sure how they felt, but we (the guests) felt like things went so so smooth. Oh and did i mention the beauty of the Gates of Ladore? I've been a lot of places and I'm not sure there's a more beautiful place in the world. Wow! I will recommend Holiday to anyone and everyone. Five stars no question! And... ill be floating with them again very soon!

a year agoJust off a 12 day green river to Lake Powell expedition. Trip leaders Sid and Nick not only met but exceeded our expectations. Cool, calm, collected and informative… I could go on. Competent, capable and knowledgeable guides Cloud, Talley, Liz, Hanna, Tristan and Alex did a superb job of Cat hurdling, feeding us, keeping us all safe and comfortable and most of all seriously risking their hides to get the boats out of the water at the end of the trip. *HEY!!!!! new Director of Canyonlands….You needs to focus some of your attention on the ramp situation at Lake Powell so we don’t lose this gem. It’s frightening… As a parent I Couldn’t be more serious about that one. The hikes and side excursions were nothing short of spectacular. Campfire talks and riverside readings Stirred the soul. The banter between guides and guests was nothing short of spectacular… Well fed and watered is an understatement. I could not imagine a better organize and run expedition. My wife and I were able to paddleboard the majority (~120 miles or so) of the trip through labyrinth and Stillwater canyons which was not only exhilarating but magic. Me and a grizzly Welsh Druid from Canada Were able to run duckies through some of the wonderful cataract canyon rapids. Fascinating at this low level to say the least. Anyone who thinks they may have the you know whats to sign up for this extended trip should consider it. Holiday does not disappoint. Warmest regards to the entire crew.,,.,RIP TP! Will see you on the big river in the sky. Love you guys.

a year agoAs a group of 13 girls, we had a blast on a weekend westwater trip. The guides and food made it feel like a true vacation. The sights were fantastic and the rapids were thrilling.
