4 years agoI'm not sure why others said these trails were well maintained. There is so much broken glass and also an area where people have obviously gone and dumped their trash, including appliances, scrap metal, and furniture. The natural area is beautiful and the trails ARE nice but when you have to be careful with your kids and dogs and worry about them getting cut or injured by the glass or liter it takes away from the fun. My daughter’s young lab sliced his foot on a big chunk of glass. There was so much blood at first we didn't know what had happened. This is a place that could be so nice to take your dogs and family if the City of Hoover would come out and do a good cleaning! My husband contacted them and has gotten no reply. Very disappointing. **Please be careful to the right of marker # 12. That's where there is an abundance of glass.
