Hotchkiss Field Community Center

Overall, it's a good rec area. Often has trash on the playground and some suspicious activity, but prime location.

Great pool for all ages. Nice community center for kids and adults to come hang out at.

I don't know how it is now but, I grew up down the street from here during the 70s, 80s, and part of 1990 . I liked coming here to play at the playground: I also enjoyed the pool; and I came to the community center quite a few times . I even remember when PE, MC Lyte, and DC Scorpio came here to do a free rap concert . I think that The Alliance were also there My memory isn't as good as it used to be . LOL !) Bottom line is that I had some good times here .

Wonderful big gym with hardwood floors, air conditioning, perfect for the free beginners line dance classes every Monday evening from 630p-8p.
