9 months agoThis is one of my favorite local Buffalo spots. It has a one-mile path around the lake. It’s a lovely spot to enjoy a walk, a run, and it’s a really nice spot to watch the sunrise.

a month agoGreat lake. Lots of seaweed around the border. Definitely get a little boat if you plan on fishing. Loved watching the kids on the floats and all the people out enjoying Father's day

4 months agoMight be my favorite park in the city. There are different pathways here, you could take a really long walk or a quick one if you don't have much time. It's a good place to walk, jog, hang with people, or there's a playground for kiddos. Biking through here is only good when it isn't busy, or if you have a bell, because most of the pathways aren't wide enough for people walking and people on bikes. During the summer there are paddle boats too! I haven't been on those yet though

2 years agoOriginally named Gala Water, this lake continues to be an iconic feature of Delaware Park. Today, the 1.1 mile loop around the lake provides a scenic walk, as well as access to meadow areas and spectacular views of the water. Rowboats and FLOATmingo paddle boats are available for rent through the Buffalo Maritime Center.
