3 months agoA fantastic museum. Full of interesting information highlighting the amazing role Philadelphia played in our nation’s history. Loved all the wooden boats. Lots of interactive exhibits for children, adolescents, and adults. Our group of 5 also toured the submarine (Becuna) and the steel warship (Olympia). The guides were very well informed and amicable. We spent time in the museum, then did the sub & ship tour, then returned to the museum. There is a lot of information so this was a useful way to break up the visit.

a month agoA great find! I highly recommend this for trips with kids. Some hands-on stuff as well and lots of history about Philadelphia, Delaware River, slave trade, and civil rights movement.
