6 months agoNestled in the heart of Durham, this park is a true gem that feels like a slice of heaven. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by the cheerful sound of birds chirping and the gentle rustle of leaves. The sunlight dances on the playground equipment, casting playful shadows that invite both children and adults to join in the fun. The atmosphere is filled with the joyful laughter of kids playing, creating a sense of community and happiness. The sprawling green lawns offer plenty of space for picnics, in the sun with a good book. Whether you're looking for a place to unwind, or simply connect with nature, this park delivers on all fronts. It’s a dreamy escape that invites you to bask in its beauty and tranquility.

3 years agoCute little playground in the middle of the woods! Great spot for a children’s play area! Lots of shade from all the tall trees around you and trails in the woods with spots for picnic tables to sit and eat at. The playground area has multiple different modern elements to it, a couple spinner wheels and the large spiderweb net swing. The playground has a higher “clubhouse” area level and then a straight slide or bars to get down. My son had such a blast playing here with the other boys who were here!

5 years agoVery nice little park, and I’ve seen most every park in the area. Our 2 puppies found it very interesting and exciting. Great for learning how to ride a bike. Great for a short walk with the dog. Clean playground equipment in great condition plus some basic exercise equipment along the path. The most interesting area is the park across the Albany street (West Ellerbee Creek Trail). This one runs along the stream that is in Indian Trail. There is a wooded path that goes into very interesting ground covered areas. This runs along the paved path that runs along the stream.
