Ingraham Park is a serene, aesthetically pleasing urban oasis characterized by its unique Ancient Greece architectural style, featuring pillars, a pristine fountain, and art pieces. • Beautiful canal views with a picturesque bridge for crossing.
  • Designated shaded areas provide relief from heat, enhancing comfort.

Perfect For

Toddlers & Young Children (0-5 years): Might get bored quickly due to the absence of a playground. Could enjoy short, supervised strolls, watching birds/pond animals, or identifying art pieces if engaged by parents, but not suited for active, independent play.
School-Aged Children (6-12 years): Suitable for calm walks, appreciating art and architecture, observing nature, or engaging in light fitness activities with the available equipment. Good for kids who enjoy quieter exploration, drawing, or reading.
Teens (13+ years): Ideal for quiet study, yoga, tai chi, photography, relaxation, or simply enjoying the serene environment.

Ideal For

Families seeking a peaceful, visually appealing place for a gentle walk or stroll.
Parents looking for a serene spot for quiet contemplation, reading, or mindful activities (yoga, reiki, tai chi).
Families interested in art, architecture, and nature observation (birds, pond animals).
Individuals or families with dogs (as explicitly mentioned in one review).
Photo opportunities due to its scenic beauty and unique architecture.
Light fitness routines using the provided exercise equipment.

💡Pro Tips from Reviews

  • Manage expectations: This is a beautiful park for relaxation and aesthetic enjoyment, not for high-energy play or extensive hiking trails.
  • Bring activities for kids that align with a quiet environment, such as sketchbooks, books, or binoculars for wildlife observation.
  • Consider visiting for a peaceful stroll or light exercise rather than a full 'hiking' experience with children.
  • Ideal for combining with other quiet activities or visits in the Coral Gables/CocoPlum area.

Things to Consider

  • Lacks a dedicated kids' playground with traditional structures (slides, swings, etc.), which might disappoint children seeking active play.
  • Does not appear to offer traditional 'hiking' trails, focusing more on gentle walks and aesthetic appreciation within a compact space.

Price & Value

Likely a free public park as no entry fees or costs are mentioned in the reviews, offering high value for quiet enjoyment, aesthetic appreciation, and light activities.

Accessibility & Special Needs

  • No specific accessibility features (e.g., ramps, accessible restrooms) are mentioned, but implies paved or walkable paths suitable for general public access.

When to Avoid

  • If your children primarily need a playground with slides, swings, or climbing structures for active play.
  • If you're expecting challenging or extensive hiking trails.
  • If kids need a high-energy environment for burning off steam and running wild.

Ingraham park is a real gem in the middle of Coral Gable oasises. It is made in the style of ancient Greece, with pilars and a fountain. It's tiny but amazingly cozy and with an exact vibe of the local neighbourhood. Love it 100%. The only thing it lacks is kids playground.

Lovely park with Beautiful Canal Views, pristine fountain, fun exercise equipment, benches to sit by the bouganvilleas, a bridge to cross the canal, and shaded areas to keep the heat away!!! It's definitely a pretty place for taking selfies and for relaxing, taking in the Miami experience. Located right outside of CocoPlum.

A beautiful piece of public space in the middle of suburbia, a great place to spend time with kids, dogs, enjoy fitness activities, and there are also some art pieces. And founding fathers decided to immortalize their names and names of their children in bronze, interesting.
