3 months agoWent for the first time this past fall and we were blown away at the detail and number of pumpkins. They had great accommodations with food and restrooms. Parking was a breeze. My husband and 4 year old daughter really enjoyed it. This event was phenomenal compared to the multiple other lantern events we've been to. Definitely worth the trip.

6 months agoGreat show!! The only damper was that it was VERY busy. But the crowd aside, there are so many pumpkins and they're carved so well. The whimsy of pumpkins along the path through the forest is magical in its own way. We loved it!!

6 months agoI drove from Sandston VA to see the Spectacular, and it was well worth the trip! I've never seen so many pumpkins in one place, in my life! What an awesome event, & I plan to do this every year, from now on! It was planned & executed so well; there were so many people, but everyone was cooperating, pleasant, & having a wonderful time. It went very quickly but we could have lingered. I'm so thrilled that I got to do this & now I can't wait till next year!

6 months agoWow. The artistry and talent on display is like nothing I've seen before. I wish they actually let less people in per hour because it was packed, and I felt a little packed in, making it hard to get to see everything up close. Either way, it's beautiful and a great way to celebrate the season.

6 months agoThe Louisville Jackolantern Spectacular was so cool! The whole trail is full of carved pumpkins EVERYWHERE. The stars are these huge pumpkins with artwork carved into them. They have themed music and trivia as you walk through the displays. This is a very popular event. We went on a Thursday a few weeks before Halloween. There was a huge crowd even then. We got tickets for 8:30 and the parking lot was much less crowded when we left thankfully. They have concessions and beer. One stand is in the amphitheater on the way to the trail and one is at the entrance to the trail. There was also a food truck in the parking lot.
