6 years agoI came here because the park name was the same as my deceased stepfather/dad who passed away of ALS in 2014. I always played Classical or Jazz music for my daughter in the womb and still till this day. The Xylophone tune itself is very Harmonic and had a heavenly sound. So, I figured I connect the two. (She's 2 in this picture 😂😭) Jackson meet your granddaughter at 2. She loves music just like her Mom 😭. Nalani (her name means "The Heavens & Calm" in Hawaiian) Meet your papa, he watches you from the Heavens everyday. Love your favorite "2" Daughters! 😍😭😇😁

2 years agoGreat park with great location near the high school and just off Central Ave. While visiting on a warm fall day, we observed every part of the park being used (minus the wading pool) - baseball being thrown in the ball field, dog walker and game of fetch in field, spectator enjoying the park art from a bench, kids on all parts of the playground, and parents watching kids from seating areas. We picked up trash at this park a year ago and found very little trash, compared to our expectations. Highly recommend this Mpls Park!
