The amount of attention, compassion, and support the coaches give the kids is truly admirable. I have seen so much growth in the gymnasts confidence, skills, and happiness. It's an amazing place. To say they do "good things for kids" is an understatement. They are a childhood haven where kids are put first. Worth every penny. No where else like it.

“Gymnastics is a dangerous sport. We’re sorry we didn’t meet your expectations. We hope that this didn’t dampen your love for gymnastics,” Hilga told us and our 12-year-old daughter the day after she suffered a NECK INJURY at gymnastics camp under the (lack of) supervision and coaching from team coach, Jordan, who had been running floor routines with team gymnasts who had state championships the following day while giving my daughter a single direction the entire day, declining to spot her when she asked repeatedly, and leaving her to “practice” high skill-level gymnastics on her own. He hadn’t bothered learning her name, finding out what her gymnastics background was, what her goals were for that day, what she had been working on with other coaches in the days before, or giving her firm limits on what she could and couldn’t do. Towards the end of the day, our frustrated daughter went for a pass without a clear intention, got in trouble mid-air, tried to correct, and landed on her neck. Coach Jordan had his back turned at the time and did not see her fall. Another girl alerted him and he went to check on her if she was ok. In shock, my daughter instinctively replied, yes, declined an ice pack, but sat out for the remaining 45 minutes of camp. I found out about this when my daughter walked through the door of our home after our nanny picked her up. No phone call. No incident report. No accountability. According to upper management, it was my 12-year-old daughter’s responsibility to communicate with the coach and to ensure her own safety. Prior to this incident, my daughter was SO happy with her experience. She is devastated. Please know that when you take your child to JAG, or frankly, any gym… there is not enough personnel to ensure your child’s safety while doing a very dangerous sport. If your child is not competing, do not let team coaches near them - if they are not team gymnasts, they do not matter to them. Take personal responsibility to ensure that you trust the coach with your child 100%. Do not assume, as I had, that their slogan of “doing great things for kids” translates, as you might assume, to them prioritizing your child’s safety. There is no licensing body or governing body for gymnastics gyms. No one to hold them accountable. Injuries are under-reported. I learned this after my daughter’s injury when I checked in (to confirm my sanity) with a friend who had coached rhythmic gymnastics for decades. I learned that she was not allowed to do recreational gymnastics because of how dangerous it is, and subsequently did not allow her own daughter and granddaughter to participate in the sport either. I wish I had known this. I want every parent to know this. - a LIVID mama bear of a very lucky child who could have died or become paralyzed under the NEGLIGENT management and coaching of JAG Gym

JAG gym is a great gymnasium. The facility is gold standard and their coaching staff is top notch. The only downside is the tuition. It's pricey but that rent and amount of equipment has so be outrageous! 😝 We've been here 5 years and my daughter is very happy here. I've loved watching her progress and growth. Thank you JAG for all you provide.

Been talking my daughter there for a year she barely learned anything, even the basics. Not worth the $$$ they charge. I ended up teaching my daughter myself and it took less than a week for her to master the basics including the cartwheels.

My Daughter Went here for over a year and she loved coming here. I love how big the place is and all the gymnastic equipment, they have to offer. My issue was that it seemed like that it was more about the numbers and the head count than the service. When you go there you literally feel like you are at a cattle ranch and the kids are like the cattle. They are very organized and work like a clock and very efficient which makes them a great money making business but not a great teaching place. They hand pick the exceptional and super talented kids which help them win tournaments. Which makes complete sense as business and that is why they have so many trophies, which is probably why they are so well known. That is why their rates are so high. Probably why more well off kids come hear, because parents think their kids will come here and bring trophies. NOT the case for most kids. The problem is not that every kids will not turn out to be a champion. The problem is that I don't think that they really care to teach and help the average kids improve and get better. I felt bad for my daughter as she tried hard and I feel like the guidance was not there. Not because the couches were not capable but because the whole class was not about teaching the kids and helping them improve their techniques. It was more about just getting the maximum number of kids in and out well like Cattles. Not much feedback. You would expect more from one of the more if not most expensive Gymnastic Gyms. You would expect more attention and follow through with the kids to get them going forward and improving their techniques. I would call this place more of place to take your kids to keep them busy and out of your hair. A place that is kinds fun. They may pick up some things here and there. No intention or Direction. Find a place that cares more. That's what we did. 5 for the Facility 2 for Service 1 for Coaching 0 for results
