It's a beautiful little space. As far as I've seen, the garden itself is not very accessible, the gate seems to usually be closed to the public. It is viewable from the plaza, though, and it's a nice view. It's like a little hidden sanctuary in the middle of the city.

Nice little oasis in the city. Not very big but this little garden can give you your moment of Zen in an otherwise busy and crazy city. It was a nice stop on my way into Little Tokyo.

Gates were closed when we arrived at 4:30pm. I'm not sure if or when they are open to the public. You still can see the small garden from above though. And the plaza is nice too with some shady places to sit.

05/14/2021 - Have a good time to tour at James Irvine Japanese Garden inside Japanese American Cultural and Community Center (JACCC) in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles. Enjoy serene beauty with the waterfall sounds, etc.

This place is so beautiful! It really carved out a peaceful spot in a busy location.
