a month agoI’ve made here before they remodel and I absolutely loved it when I was a kid. I came back since they remodel it. It so beautiful how I remembered. I brought my niece and husband since they haven’t seen anything like this. They absolutely loved it. They admire how beautiful it is. Highly recommend coming.

3 months agoLove the environment and the show (“Animal Kingdom”). We went 1/24/25 at 11:00 AM The intro film before the feature show is far too loud. Painfully loud. Ridiculous. People were sticking fingers in their ears. I know we did. And imagine having kids or babies there! Our ears were ringing for several minutes into the feature. Paid too much to have to plug my ears.

4 months agoVery disappointed! This used to be so amazing before renovations. They used to show the speakers and fly over. That was cool. Now it was okay for a few minutes but then I was bored out of my mind. Maybe it was just the show I picked, but it was not worth $15.00 a person. We show liquid verse.

2 months agoMy first experience in a dome theatre and it was breathtaking. The theatre recently opened so everything is brand new. The seats are comfy. Tickets were purchased online and seats are basically first come, first serve when you arrive (so get there early if you like being in the center). People seemed to be migrating towards the higher rows for a full view experience but anything from the middle and higher is pretty decent. It doesn’t say it on the website but Orbital is actually a double feature! With the second one being about the constellations.

a month agoCompletely agree with the issues many others have pointed out. The inability to recline seats is baffling, especially since a large portion of the screen is on the ceiling. At 5'9", I’m of average male height, yet the lack of legroom was shockingly uncomfortable. And if you need to step out during the show, there’s no way to do so without forcing everyone between you and the aisle to awkwardly retreat into the aisle to make room. My rating does not even factor in the poor-quality films. OG films (e.g. The Dream is Alive), for all their limitations in pixel resolution, is compelling content. But the COSM produced content like Orbital? I can't believe it's a commercial product. It’s pretentious, meditative nonsense—neither educational nor entertaining. No better than a screensaver with a voice track of gibberish slapped on. If you have fond memories like I do of the Omni Theater visits from some 30+ years ago and expect this recent remodel to elevate those memories, do yourself a favor and give this a miss.
