**STROLLER FRIENDLY** This trail is a little over 3 miles (total to the end and back), well if you go the way in my description. The trail splits into 2 parts. One part which starts at the end of the Woodberry apts (walk toward the roundabout). this part is 0.7 miles to the end (ends at a park)and 0.7 back. It’s completely paved and flat. I posted pics of where to start. The google address doesn’t take you to the exactly to the right area. It takes you to a track and field, don’t go all the way up there. We parked right across the street from the police station then walked down towards the woodberry apts and to the trail. The second part of the trail is across the street, there is small green track marks near the light instructing you to cross. It leads to a ramp which leads to the trail. That part of the trail is uphill but not terrible even with a stroller. It’s about a 1.5 miles total. Scenic with trees on the sides. we went to the top of the trail, not sure if it kept going because it wasn’t clear, then turned back. Overall good section of the trail. Hope my review helps.

Fabulous hike through a quiet, wooded area of the city.

Nice flat walking path, lots of nature around you to view or explore. There are bikers, so be mindful. Parking at both ends though the Woodberry end would be the ideal parking spot.

The trail is relatively hard to locate. But once you find the small green stickers on the pavement you'll be fine. The trail starts with a whole lot of downhill riding, so plan accordingly for the way back. About 15 minutes in, there is some work being done on the trail. But other than that, the trail is great.

It’s hard to find and, at times, confusing to navigate, but it’s very accessible—it has tons of openings that span from Greenspring Ave all the way to the zoo. It also has a lot of beautiful spots, it circles around a few landmarks, and it’s pretty huge for a city trail. It’s also calm and has plenty of space for bikers and pedestrians to commute without making room for each other. I’d definitely recommend this trail to friends!
