a year agoI can't say enough great things about Josh Powell Camp. This is my son's second year and he loved it. What I love about this camp is that it is old school outdoor fun. Also, the counselors love the kids. I love how they hold the kids accountable for their actions by making sure they use kind words and respect one another. I highly recommend. I referred two friends and they loved it as well. I will say expect your kid to come home very dirty. That is a sign of a great day. :-)

11 months agoJosh Powell Camp is amazing! My boys (ages 8 and 5) had an incredible week of being outside at camp all day! They got to swim, learn archery, canoe, do the ropes course, play games, and make crafts. They came home happy, tired, and dirty from playing hard, which is a win for me!! The staff and counselors are wonderful, too. I also love that there are options for my boys to attend during school breaks. All around, Josh Powell is just a great place, and we highly recommend it!

11 months agoAbsolutely amazing. This is the most organized and activity filled camp. My son loves the outdoors and this was perfect for him. There is structure but they also just let kids be kids and play, explore, learn. My son can be slow to warm up to new environments and I was so impressed by how quickly he connected with this camp. He’s already asking to go again. Thank you!

a year agoMy kids ages 7 and 9 attended Josh Powell for the first time last week…and they have never loved a camp like they did JP! My 9 year old is a little harder to please when it comes to summer camp and he kept asking if he got to go back. It’s the absolute perfect camp to get the kids out of the city and away from devices for good old fashion outdoor fun. We even signed up for another two weeks because they so enjoyed it!

a year agoMy son loved his time at Josh Powell Camp so much that he's already asking to go back. He said he loved every activity that was offered. I loved Josh Powell camp because it allowed him to experience so many traditional camp activities like canoeing, archery and swimming. We look forward to sending him again next year.
