K1 Speed - Indoor Go Karts, Corporate Event Venue, Team Building Activities

So much fun for the whole family!!! Adults and children alike are going to have a great time here. Tip* every Tuesday they have a buy 2 races get 1 free. Great value for entertainment and fun either way. These cars are completely electric ⚡ and go fast ⏩ up to 50mph. The staff is great and safety is a top priority here.

DO NOT SPEND A SINGLE PENNY HERE!!!! We had previously rated this place 5 stars prior to the new “GM Josh” or so he claimed. Josh decided my son and his friends would have a “better time” in the junior karts. Even though all boys are well above the minimum height requirement and there to ride the big ones finally all together. We were given no option. When I asked for a refund I was told I need to check my attitude or he would simply deny that as well. It just takes one bad employee and K1 Essex has Josh. DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AT K1 ESSEX!!!!

Just a fantastic experience that was exactly as advertised. We had a party of 17 and they weee patient, explained everything very well, did a great job arranging our group by skill and we always felt supported and never rushed. Just an awesome experience! Thank you to the team that worked Friday, 11 OCT!!

It was my first time racing and my first time at a K1 speed location. I hadn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised by how spacious the facility was. The staff at this Essex location were all very nice in patiently answering my questions about their rules for racing, including a staff member who said it Essex was not her home location. When I am back in town to visit I would definitely visit this location again :)

I loved it. My only complaint is that there is plenty of marshaling of slower drivers, but not enough of the speed demons. For example, we were instructed to pass on the left, but many people passed on the right, causing collisions or near collisions. And they tend to cut people off. That’s not cool! Maybe there should be a pro series or something for the regulars, so they can gun it at will. That said, I had a blast! I wish I could give a 4.5 instead of a 4. Also, the staff were all awesome!
