Today was my 6-year-old son’s birthday, and we went to celebrate it. There was a serious accident, and my son’s car couldn’t continue. At that moment, a K1 Speed employee approached him, and instead of checking if he was okay, he started scolding him and aggressively telling him that he shouldn’t press both pedals at the same time. My son doesn’t speak English and kept trying to say he didn’t understand, but the employee grabbed his knee aggressively until I shouted at him to stop! Afterward, I went to another staff member on the track, informed them of the situation, and asked to speak with the manager. They called the manager twice over the radio, but no one responded. I believe you need to train your staff better

This is the first time we have been to K1. It was previously another go kart place. The process was easy to get checked in. The staff was all helpful. The drivers were balls to the wall. Definitely go if you want an adrenaline rush! We had a blast!

This is the third time I’ve been to this location. Every time has been a letdown. The first time I came I came with my brother from out of state. I paid for three races. And the management refused to let us do another three more races each because it was Christmas Eve and they wanted to go home early. The second time I came, I called ahead for 25 minutes. Was told that it would be about a 45 minute wait for the first race. Showed up it was a three hour long wait. So I went home without a race. The third time I showed up, I paid for three races for me and another person. I showed up at 9:00 pm did not do my first race until 11 o’clock after I was told it was a 45 minute wait. When they called my girlfriend’s name, they did not call mine. I asked them what was going on and why are we in separate races. They went ahead Removed her name from that race and added us to two races after the race, it was about 11:15 I asked them if we were going be able to finish my two other races they said yes the they called my girlfriend‘s name by herself once again. They changed us to two more races ahead so we could race together. They explained to me that me and her will be able to use our last race and will be the last ones going. . We finished our second race, got out the carts. They never called our name and told us that we could come back another time… I was at this location for 3 hours, raced twice and didn’t even get to use my last race. Other individuals showed up after we came and they were allowed to race two back-to-back races. In fact We were pushed out of our last race so that customers that showed up after Could race themselves.

This was our first visit to K1 speed in Midlothian, VA, and it was an outstanding experience. My daughter and I had an incredible time racing the Go- Karts and truly enjoyed every moment. What stood out most was the exceptional service provided by one of the team members, Preston. His upbeat attitude sense of humor and willingness to assist everyone made a great impression and significantly enhanced our visit. We will absolutely return and I highly recommend visiting.

I've had fun here before with a corporate event, but the last 2 times have been for unorganized races. The first event in November 2024 was for a birthday and was for about 5 kids. This was not a party package, but it took over 3 hours to ride both races. I was there again today with a group of 12. I could have reserved, but that basically forces you to a 2 race minimum and costs roughly an extra $25 per person. So we just showed up for one race. We were told it would be a 45 minute wait. That ended up being 2.5 hours, just for 1 race! I was able to see that they were far behind on their schedule. Our "race time" is what the front desk quoted, but the actual time was nowhere near that. Also, the front desk staff did not seem to know how to get us in a group together. They were mostly successful, but one of our people was left out of any race. The race attendant was able to fix that. I noticed the staff was not loading drivers for the next race during an ongoing race, so I'm sure that was slowing things down. I spoke to the lady manning the schedule and loading the cars and told her how long we had been waiting, so she was going to bump us up one slot. Unfortunately, a Karen got in the way as we were loading and said she was promised back to back races as part of a party and they had to get to some other event. So squeaky wheel got the grease. Don't plan on being somewhere after you go to this place, that's for sure! This place really needs a standby board so you know when your race is coming up and so they don't have to shout your name over a megaphone, which is difficult to hear. It would also help so you know if your party was registered properly. It was fun racing, but I think I'm going to try to avoid this place from now on.
