7 months agoI love it every year. I come once a year on my Birthday and I'm never disappointed with the life of the era I feel. It truly brings my spirits up and breaths life back into me. Thank You for a wonderful and happy Birthday. Dale.

7 months agoIt was okay if you are into this kind of thing. Ticket prices are decent. The things you are able to do there males up for the cheap tickets. I really wanted to do the tarot cards or palm reading, and it was $30. I think that's a little extreme. We walked around the area and listened a couple of hours. It is fun to see young kids getting into their roles, and it's nice to see so many youths working and enjoying their job.

3 months agoSeveral of the booths made by the facility were empty, and vendors had tents set up instead. Several of the booths were selling things that they didn't make, and it was easy to tell because the tag on those items indicated that these items were made overseas. This place used to be packed with vendors who made everything they were selling, even if it wasn't made right there, in front of you. Some of the event areas were empty as well. I worked there about 34 years ago for about 4 or 5 years, and nearly all the foods we sold were made from fresh food right there in the booth. After having been there a few times to visit all my old friends and reconnect with other people I had met over the years, I've seen the grounds, booths, and privies go downhill. People can get food that has been made and packaged from somewhere far away, or there are still a few foods that are cooked fresh while you wait. Not only am I disappointed due to the emptiness and run-down facilities, but I'm also heartbroken because the place I worked at as a young fella has changed so much that it's no longer fun to visit. This isn't just my opinion, I've also overheard other visitors talking about how the place has changed so much over the last several years. It's very sad to see.

a year agoFun, fun fun. It's always a blast. Great food, great selections. Tons of artisan shops. With lots of stages for a great variety of entertainment for endless enjoyment. Never a dull moment in the park.

2 years agoTake the family to Knights of Lights at Bonner Springs Festival grounds. We went last year and it was very nice but this year was amazing. They had way more lights than they did last year and the way they had the decorations and Designs set up with the lights was just spectacular the kids got to meet with Santa. There were shops open for some Christmas shopping and it was just a wonderful time.
