Kayak City

I appreciate that this store carries a unique selection of kayak gear that’s hard to find elsewhere, which is why I continue to shop here. However, the customer service could definitely be improved. There are usually multiple employees present, but it seems like only one person is handling both the in-store customers and the phone calls. This makes for a long wait and a bit of a frustrating experience, especially when it feels like other staff members could step in to help. I understand how busy things can get, and I really hope they’re able to improve their service in the future — it would make a big difference.

After purchasing my Hobie Outback Kayak a few years ago (which I love), I am now also using it to sail. I purchased the sail and sailing rudder. James was able to install this in minutes. Much easier to tack with the sailing rudder since much larger. Super helpful. Thank you James! I love Kayak City!

The website is well designed, and has easy to use e-commerce features. Their shipping partner is among the best in the business in terms of cost and speed. Overall a great place to order kayaks and kayak accessories.

Kayak City is a top notch store whether you are interested in fishing or paddling kayak. They have a full line of kayak gear and a friendly staff that is there to help you. They set me up in a Hobie Pro Angler fishing kayak and I absolutely love it. The staff at Kayak City got the kayak dialed in and I've been catching fish and having a great time ever since!

My Old Town Predator PDL kayak arrived in great condition and was packed very well. On top of throwing in a paddle, Kayak City included two rod holders and two fishing leashes which was a very nice surprise. When i began unpacking and assembling my kayak i noticed that Old Town forgot to include a tension knob with the kayak. I called Kayak City and they told me to email them my order number/serial number/ and missing piece and they would email Old Town. In a matter of minutes of sending the email, Brandon from Kayak City had contacted Old Town and had secured the missing part for me. It was excellent customer service from both Kayak City and Old Town. I would highly recommend purchasing a kayak from Kayak City.
