Kayak Dock - Brooklyn Bridge Park Boathouse

What a great experience for the whole family! Who can beat free kayaking in Brooklyn in well kept boats managed by volunteers that enjoy kayaking.

Crazy hot in early July. Nice dock staff but poorly organized checkin staff. Board member present was unpleasant and rude. Do.NOT recommend bringing dogs.

Why is there always a padlock on the fence. You have to jump over the fence to use it but I guess that’s ok. It’s just sort of an inconvenience for a public kayak launch. Duh.

So much fun!!
