3 weeks agoI went as a group (field trip) with my daughter's school. We had an amazing time learning about Kearney and some of Fresno's history. Tour guides explained each station well. I will definitely be visiting again with my family. There is so much to look at and learn about!

4 months agoThanks to the tour guide’s detailed instructions, we spent a wonderful hour here and got a great impression of the endeavor that the Fresno County Historical Society has done. Make a reservation online before your visit.

6 months agoI can't give a fair review as we were not able to go in. Who knew a museum would be closed on a Wednesday?! I took my mom out of town & that was one of her requested stops. Needless to say, we were very disappointed to arrive at locked gates. We did explore the grounds & what history we were able to find. It is a beautiful park with gorgeous trees & wildlife everywhere. Hopefully, one day, we will be able to spend some time inside the mansion. We do love to soak in the past!

2 years agoVery interested historical house. The house has many interesting features showing life in rural CA at the turn of the century. The wallpapering is wonderful. It shows restoration and pieces of original, so you see the beauty of what was intended but also how it has aged. The tour guide was very good. We were the last tour of the day and were there for a birthday. He made the experience really memorable.

a year agoFascinating tour of the “Raisin King’s”Fresno mansion from the early 1900’s. Though only parents and I signed up for the hour-long tour our guide was interactive and expanded on any of our questions. The original (and replica restoration) wallpaper with various flowers was my favorite part of the tour. Definitely among Fresno’s top tours, along with the Meux Home Museum (late 1800s) and the Forestiere Underground Gardens (1906-1946).
