We’ve had two kids enrolled at Kid Ventures. The oldest is now in first grade, and when she started in kindergarten she was well ahead of her peers academically. Even more important, Kid Ventures helped her develop a love of school and strong social skills to help her ease through the transition to elementary. Our youngest is still at Kid Ventures, and she’s always happy to go to school. Both girls have formed close relationships with their teachers and classmates. Kid Ventures offers a healthy mix of play, creativity, and academic development, tailored to each age level. They’re also great at communicating with families and listening whenever we’ve had a concern about one of our girls. I’m very happy with our experience at Kid Ventures, and I’ll be sad when our littlest graduates.

We love KidVentures! The teachers are all very kind, attentive, and caring. Our kiddo has been going there since she was 18 months and has moved through all of the rooms. She loves going to school and actually gets excited when she realizes it's a school day. She's made great friends there and has really wonderful relationships with her teachers. They have a solid approach to education through play, while also prepping them for kindergarten and beyond with the fundamentals. Every day she comes home with something new and exciting to share about what she's learning. Mr. Peter who runs the school is also very kind and sets a great example of empathy, kindness, and structure. My only gripe is that their parking lot used to be one of Liberty Station's best kept secrets, but now it gets pretty packed in the afternoons. Some have complained about the price, and yes, they're slightly higher than a lot of other family day cares or preschools in the area, but I think the facility and organization more than justify the cost.

Our experience at Kid Ventures has been nothing short of outstanding; all three of our kiddos have participated in their preschool program (the Blue Room for 2-3 year olds, the Red Room for 3-4 year olds, and the Green Room for 4-5 year olds). Their learning environment allows for spontaneous development wherein children learn by exploring. It's the perfect balance of play-based and high-quality curriculum; while it's very much "teacher-supervised," there's also a healthy amount of room for self-directed activities. Their facility is safe, clean, and intentionally well-organized so each little sprout has access to their own materials which fosters independence. Their "pretend play" zone is all time! This space really allows for imaginations to flourish. Our kids' roots have been well-watered by all the educators at KVPA. They're warm and welcoming, approachable and supportive; they truly care for the kids and offer a positive emotional connection. The staff take the time to provide daily updates, share photos, invite families in for events (Muffins with Mom, Donuts with Dad, amongst other holiday celebrations); they really offer a uniquely personalized experience to each kid/family. Their graduation ceremonies are so beautiful and thoughtful; they honor each child as an individual and spotlight their strengths/growth since entering the program. Our kids have developed such a strong appreciation for their teachers, their peers, and for school in general thanks to KV. Our kids have also been well-equipped in terms of their social/academic skills as a result of their program. We adore you KV! Thanks for all you do.

We had a GREAT 4+ year experience with KidVentures via our two sons. They were completely prepped for regular school life, both emotionally and intellectually. Each time we pass by, our youngest (4 yr old) asks if we can visit his former teachers and classmates because he had such a great time there and misses them!!

I would give 100 stars if I could! We started at KVPA in the fall of 2020 with our two-year-old son. He attended for two years before we had to move, and the childcare programs we experienced in our new location did not hold a candle to KVPA. What Peter and the rest of the staff have created is truly one-of-a-kind. We were fortunate to return to San Diego and enrolled our younger son at that time, while our older kiddo went to TK4. There were 3 years between enrolling our older and our younger, but the experience was equally wonderful, unlike a lot of childcare centers, who have a lot of turnover and change management frequently...that does not happen here! Our older son is thriving in kindergarten, which I owe largely to KVPA, and our younger son adapted quickly to his new preschool after a recent move. Not only did we have an incredible educational experience, we made lifelong friends in the community created here. I wish we could have stayed forever!
