🍎Food Policy

• • Charcoal grills and gas grills (with a maximum #1 propane tank) are allowed in the parks.
• • NO GRILLS are allowed inside a pavilion, under a roof or canopy, or on a deck or pavement in the park.
• • No selling of food and/or beverages is permitted at block parties on public property (not directly for Kids Cove, but general public property rule).

🛡️Safety Policy

• • Dogs are not allowed in playgrounds.
• • Maximum tent size in parks is a ten foot by ten foot (10'x10') pop-up or canopy with no sides.
• • No enclosed tents are allowed.
• • TENTS MAY NOT BE STAKED to the ground; only external weights can be used to secure them in place.
• • Children under age 7 are not permitted in the Lakewood Dog Park. Children ages 7 to 17 must be accompanied and closely supervised by parent or guardian (specific to dog park, generally indicates age policies in parks).
• • All dog leashes must be no more than six (6) feet in length and may not be retractable.

📅Booking Policy

• • Pavilion rentals (Woman’s Club Pavilion or the Kiwanis Pavilion at Lakewood Park) use an online reservation system.
• • All rental fees for pavilions must be paid up front by credit card.
• • Madison Park's open picnic pavilion does not take reservations; it is available on a first come first serve basis.

🚗Parking Information

• • Parking is not permitted in excess of 24 hours anywhere on city streets.
• • Metered parking is free on: New Year’s Day, MLK Jr. Day, Presidents’ Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
• • Snow parking bans are in effect on designated streets when there is 4 inches or more of snow on the street without necessity of notice by the City.
• • Snow left in driveway aprons by city plowing is the residents' and owners' responsibility to remove.
• • Snow may not be pushed or blown into the street from private property, nor onto neighbor's property.
