Kids of Summer Sports NYC

My 6 year old son Bowie had the time of his life at Kids of Summer! Even as a little guy, he has a passion for all things baseball. Kids of Summer provided him with high quality instruction, encouragement, and fun! The coaches were kind and knowledgeable, and Bowie finished camp having gained new skills and confidence. He can’t wait to come back next summer!

Kids of Summer is the premier sports camp for kids in Manhattan. We’ve been sending our son Nico to Kids of Summer day camp and after school since he was 5 years old. The coaches are incredible with the kids and ensure they enjoy a mix of fun, healthy competition and skill building. The founders of the Camp, Mike and Brian, are native New Yorkers so Riverside is literally their back yard and they ensure the kids have everything they need each and every day. Francesca, the Deputy Director and one of the coaches, is also a native New Yorker and an absolute gem (and a baller!) - the kids adore her. The kids also adore Aaron, Uri and the other coaches, who have almost all played college sports. Our son Nico comes home each day having learned something new, and most important, with a big smile on his face! We’ve participated in rookie sports, baseball and basketball and Nico always comes home having had a blast, the best version of himself, and totally exhausted (in the best way!). The fields down in riverside are also some of the best in the City. Kids of Summer is the gem of the Upper West Side and the best game in town! -Gui (Native and Forever New Yorker)

My son is 12 year old, attended the football and basketball camp this year at Kids of the summer(KOS). He came home every day so excited to tell me all about his time at KOS, he loved all the coaches. He was exhausted after camp but couldn’t wait to go back the next day. Some weeks he only wanted to do football all day, the KOS team always accommodated him. The team at KOS always responded to me very quickly and was always happy to help in anyway. Also when you sign your kid up for camp, you can do a payment plan which makes it so affordable compared to other camps. My son can’t wait to go back next year! He also will sign up for fall classes. Thank you KOS for such a great summer! Thank you to all the staff! My son’s comment was “Best Camp Ever”, so I am guessing I got some mom points this year! 😁

My son has been going to Kids of Summer for many years. Every single coach has been incredible. They’re all warm and interested in the kids, and they know how to teach them while making it lots of fun. My son’s skills have improved greatly, and he begs to go back every year. He also wants to become a counselor when he’s old enough, he just can’t get enough of this program. My 8 year old daughter will start going this summer as well, she’s thrilled. I highly recommend this as a summer camp option!

Our daughter had a great experience. The coaches took her and her friends from school to the field, practiced with them, and made everything easier for us parents. My daughter was excited every Wednesday for her practice!
