a month agoThe concept of Kidzania is super cute!! I went with my 6 year old's 1st grade field trip. The ticket price for each student was $25 and that included a sliceof pizza and a little juice box drink for the kids. The frustrating thing about the trip was that half of the "shops" were shut down. The day we went there were at least 4 other school field trip groups there so there were A LOT of kids. Our group was there for a little over 3 hours. In that time, the group of kids that I was watching were able to do a total of 2 attractions due to the insanely long lines. From what I understand, the normal ticket prices are about double what we paid. I would have been furious if I had paid $100 for tickets and was able to do two whole things. I can't say that I would even attempt to return. With the amount of children that were there, they should have been able to ensure a fully staffed place. It was frustrating!

a week agoWas our recent visit to KidZania worth it? Unfortunately, no. Many areas were closed, including the BIC station, the construction zone, the eye clinic, and more — which limited the number of activities available. Were there enough activities for younger children? Hardly any. My daughter, who is about to turn 4, got very bored and ended up crying because she wasn’t allowed to participate in several activities. Did they help with this? No. We were told we had to upgrade her wristband, which costs an additional $35. If you have a little one close to 4 years old, wouldn’t it be better to buy the full child ticket upfront to avoid this issue. What about additional costs? Some activities that used to be free now require an extra fee. For example, the Kinder Joy activity and the firefighter experience cost 10 kidZos each. Make a pizza $12 US DLLS Is that reasonable? No, considering kids only earn 8 kidZos per activity and only few activities. How was the staff? Sadly, they were mostly serious and unfriendly, especially with younger children. Only a few stations had cheerful and kind staff members. Was there anything for parents to do? No, parents don’t have any activities, so you’re just standing around waiting. Was the surprise store a good experience? Not really. There were only a few stuffed animals for 100 kidZos, tiny lollipops for 25, and small candy for 40. Do kids get enough to earn something exciting? No, they would have to complete several activities to get something small. Did anything make up for the disappointing visit? Yes, almost at the end, the avocado activity really turned our day around. The staff there was fantastic with both younger and older kids, and it brightened our afternoon. In conclusion, is it worth paying the high entrance fee? Definitely not, especially with the closed areas, extra charges, and a staff that doesn’t seem to enjoy working with kids. Will we be returning? Probably not.

a month agoWas so nervous from the reviews because we came from out of state BUT we had an absolute blast! They go throughout the city working jobs earning “kidzo” currency to buy what they want. YES the QR code is essential for the guide but it is posted right before you enter, inside, and the front desk lady mentioned it before we went in. It has the scheduled times of all the activities with ages allowed. My daughter is 1 year and 10 months and my son is 8. She had lots of fun but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it to kids 4 or younger only because she didn’t understand the instructions of the activities. She just had fun being there. My only complaint is the toddler area. My daughter didn’t stay long in this area at all because it was very neglected, unsanitary, unkept, and very little for them to do. Those play areas could easily be found somewhere else like a library for cheaper or even free. Other than that, we had an amazing time and I fully recommend going! AND if you have toddlers under 4, do not worry. My daughter still had a blast on all the other activities, again, she just couldn’t understand them. Super worth it!

a month agoThis was our third visit to KidZania and it went well. The wait times have increased a little bit more and that is due to more people which is understandable. Our kids, 4 and 8 had a lot of fun with the activities. Staff was friendly and they encouraged my son during the construction site course. I appreciate that kind gesture.

a month agoWe were really looking forward to our visit, but unfortunately, the experience was frustrating and disappointing from the start. The park was so overcrowded that we could barely walk through without feeling completely stuck. There were no employees around to guide us or answer questions, which only added to the chaos. No one greeted us upon arrival or provided our kids’ cash or bank cards, leaving us confused about how to even get started. For two whole hours, we couldn’t participate in a single activity because of how packed it was. To make things worse, multiple attractions were closed—on a busy Saturday, no less—which only increased the already overwhelming wait times. On top of that, the park was filthy, with trash and dirt everywhere, making the environment feel neglected and unkempt. The only reason I’m giving two stars instead of one is because the concept is great, but the way it’s run makes it nearly impossible to enjoy. For the high price, I expected a much better experience. Until they improve crowd management, cleanliness, customer service, and ensure that all attractions are open during peak times, I wouldn’t recommend it.
