2 weeks agoI’ve been going to King’s Dominion since I was a toddler, so my review is definitely biased due to nostalgia - but I still love it! It’s the perfect spot to spend a weekday morning or afternoon with a little one. It’s also great for big kids and adults (give yourself a whole day). The newest roller coaster, Rapterra, is worth the visit alone! If you live in the metro Richmond area, I recommend a season pass and an all-season souvenir drink cup. You can easily get your money’s worth.

2 weeks agoWent for opening day today. Wasn’t too crowded given and it was a beautiful 80 plus degree day. Most of the rollercoasters only had one train running which made for long wait times. 21/2 hours to ride the all new Rapterra. IMO only 4-5 good coasters they rest are blah. Happy 50th!!

4 months agoAwesome time @ New Years Eve 2024. Weather was just perfect. The place was full, but it was still easy to walk around. The lines were long, but accessible to a few rides. Kids and adults had fun. The bands playing fav's for all ages keep everybody dancing and having a great time. Fireworks were top-notch.

4 months agoWe went to Winterfest for the first time on 12/14. The park is really decked out for the holidays and the lights are absolutely beautiful. It was not crowded, very easy to navigate. The one and only thing I would recommend is more places to dine inside. They have a lot of kiosk style places to grab something at the window, but very few indoor places. Other than that, zero complaints. Clean restrooms, friendly employees, some rides were running but don’t expect to go during this event and find all rides running. This was a great way to get in the Christmas spirit!

a month agoWe went on a school trip during June to the park. It was fun the food was great. But by tickets in advance the lines are LONG. Other than that it's was a pretty good trip.
