💡Pro Tips from Reviews

  • Encourage younger children (e.g., 6-year-olds) to get low to the ground to look, as reptiles are often hidden high up in enclosures but are visible from a lower vantage point.
  • Be prepared that some exhibits might have obscured views due to uncleaned inside windows.

Things to Consider

  • Inside windows of some exhibits have 'years of water spots,' making it difficult to see animals clearly and enjoy the view.

The name says it all: the reptile house. Each of the different exhibits of animals, I mean reptiles, is a hunt and find game for the kids Some of the reptiles were out front and easy to 6 others take a keen eye to find. Pro tip is get low down to look ad if your 6 year old. They seem to find where everyone is hiding as they can see up to the top of the enclosure where a lot the reptiles were hiding. One complaint would be that the staff need to clean the inside windows of the exhibits. Some of them have years of water spots on them, making the animals hard to see and enjoy.

The Reptile House is a must see! Lots of beautiful Snakes and Lizards to look at. Some notorious, some venomous and some are both. It is awesome to see Rattlesnakes, they are beautiful creatures that demand respect and a wide birth when encountered locally in rural areas.
