2 weeks agoGreat little old school bowling alley and arcade center. Kind of feels like you're back in 1989, but that's some of the fun. Glad they had options for kids and toddlers with lane bumpers and bowling ball ramps. It's definitely a fun for the whole family kind of spot. Win tickets, get prizes. When the weather is not great, coming here can still make it a great afternoon.

3 months agoNot a bad experience per say, but not worth 5 stars either. Really expensive just for open bowl. Average food available to order. Staff was really friendly. Felt clean for a bowling alley. The bathroom wasn’t great though.

a month agoMost expensive bowling experience I’ve had. This was a typical old 70s bowling alley, super cramped lanes, cracked balls, nonexistent staff with some flashy lights - lipstick on a pig - charging high end prices. I should have known when none of their pricing was posted on their website nor anywhere inside the establishment and even at the counter they tried to be tight lipped about it. I think $7 per game and $5 for shoes and no pricing for children. I thought it would be comparable to literally any other bowling alley in the area. The high price was I think because of the large light display/screen by the pins but it definitely wasn’t anything special for the price. We were already done bowling when we got our food order which they admitted they forgot about and then got it wrong. It was a couple orders of French fries and NO ONE ELSE was ordering food in the place, so I’m baffled how they messed up. Couldn’t get a receipt out of them and they still asked for a tip on the payment. Thought we could salvage the night in the arcade but it was too rich for my blood. Would rather go to Mineshaft for games. Will likely never go there again. Can’t imagine it will be there for long. Wish I’d looked at the reviews before going! They were all true.

4 months agoSo expensive for what? What an underwhelming experience. We had to switch lanes more than twice due to pins not clearing, or inappropriately clearing mid-frame (in order to complete 2 games total). The customer service was inattentive and replied by saying "those two lanes have been having problems lately." After ordering food, they tell us minutes later that they're out, after charging us already. A compromise was made, but it was definitely on the customer to negotiate. I can still have fun while having a 1-star experience, but many others might not be able to, so if that's you and you'd like your actual money's worth and to know your accurate bowling score, maybe try another bowling alley or read through the similar reviews as this seems to be a trend.

2 years agoThis bowling alley has 12 lanes with an arcade, small pool hall, and bar/restaurant. There aren't many lanes to begin with, but the rest of the space makes up for it. If youre looking to take your children out for a family fun outing, this is it. Once you enter, there's an arcade to the right that's filled with fun machines to play with. To the left, is the bar/restaurant section, with plenty of space for customers to dine away from the crowd of bowlers. There is a small pool hall adjoining the bar/restaurant next to the lanes. Mindfully, the lane space is limited and smaller than most lanes. The only thing I found displeasing was waiting for almost two hours for a pizza and a plate of tots to come out. The only justification is that they must've forgotten about my order. I finally asked a worker about the order and she went to check on it. 15-20 minutes later, the pizza and tots came out. By the time the food came out, we're done bowling. Disappointed.
