a year agoI have mixxed thoughts on this place. The play ground is not open to the public. It is a long wall to farmers carry mutipule kayaks to launch. It would not be hard to put in a launch much closer to the entrance with how it is naturally laid out. You could dredge and put in something to really make this spectacular. Very limited parking. I meet a rowing instructor that was very nice, showed me on the map were to go and were I could paddle the kids to see a eagle and its nest. This lake is amazing its a shame such a well off area has done such a poor job implementing the land utilization better. This place seems so poorly managed for such an amazing piece of property. People also will tell you mixxed reviews if you can picnic or stop on the island I am still unsure if you csn or can not. Better signage, better parking and a much better launch and maintence would be expected.

4 months agoIt's a nice place to go when you want to have a relaxing view of the lake and walk the small trail. I was hoping to find wild life or animals in the lake but didn't see any really

4 years agoA peaceful place to stroll around. Lots of benches scattered around the trail. We saw a couple of people kayaking and quite a few people walking their dogs.

2 years agoSmall hiking trail. A small playground if your eldest is playing at the nearby school and younger children need a break. Surrounded by a nice neighborhood. Not a well maintained trail.

2 years agoThis place is more for canoeing than walking/hiking. Due to erosion, many hiking trails got tree roots out so it needs a comprehensive update.
