This was our first time to the park and it didn't disappoint. Although cold and windy, the trails were great and the wildlife was incredible. We will definitely come back because he liked the hills and the people we passed were very friendly......

If you want to enjoy a nice claming and windy ,freash lake walk, Lake Johnson Park is a good place. It has a restroom near the entrances and plenty shade when walking the trail. If you want to enjoy the lake view, you can sit on the deck.

Great walking trails, both paved and unpaved, meander alongside the lake. For those who prefer the water, kayak rentals are available for a leisurely paddle. A fishing dock offers a perfect spot to cast a line and wait for a bite. Those seeking a different vantage point can stroll across the walking bridge, another ideal location for fishing. With so many options, it's an outdoor enthusiast's paradise. I suggest going early in the morning as parking at the main entrance is limited, but there are several additional parking lots around the lake. I found so many different types of mushrooms on my walk! Enjoy your visit!

Breathtaking scenery ❤️. The parking lot is limited, thereby, you can park at the Avent Ferry Rd Lot, that’s 3-min driving away from the park and 8-min walking lake rail taking to this breathtaking view

Our favorite park, it's very clean, the lake path is paved everywhere, very convenient for biking, walking with a stroller, lots of birds to watch. There is a place for kayaking, shelters with barbecue area. In general for a walk is the best, but you need to take into account that this place is quite popular and there are always a lot of people here, and parking spaces can sometimes be hard to find. There is also no playground here like in other parks.
