4 months agoSuch the perfect place for any age. Playground set for toddlers and one for older kids. There’s a sidewalk to the playground that makes it easy to push a stroller around. Great place for sports with a huge field to kick a ball around. We’ve done picnics here multiple times, on the grass and there are tables with benches. There’s one port a potty (never been in but I imagine it’s not in great shape) but I believe further down there are bathrooms at the baseball fields. It is dog friendly but no separate gated area for them

2 years agoJust a wonderful place to take kids, stroll around the distance-marked path, ride bikes, feed ducks, go fishing or paddle boating! It is a mecca for the outdoors lovers inside a metropolitan area! Always a favorite, with a small shop for fishing permits, fishing supplies, ice cream or tackle. Just sit under one of the expansive shade trees and contemplate the wonders of nature. Such a beautiful, tranquil locale with so many things to see and do. Motorized boats are not permitted nor is swimming. (It eventually reaches our water taps). As of February 2022 water levels have been noticeably lowered.

6 months agoI love this park. Grab a lunch, have a picnic. Lots of space around. Every time I've gone it was quiet. I recommend going in the mornings with a cup of coffee. I also run here, their trail is nice. 5.7 miles of paved trail. I just wish it wasn't an out and back but a loop. Then you can really count your laps. Oh well! Great place. Lots of baseball fields near by too.

4 years agoGreat place and plenty of space to walk, run, fish or ride your bike. They just need to check the portable restrooms along the trail more often to clean them..
