6 months agoPicturesque beauty is what comes to mind when I think of this location. I was able to enjoy this view after purchasing coffee from up the road. The serenity and peace that I felt can only be found in nature.

4 years agoThe best part of this park is the diversity of people that come here. It is so amazing. Such a friendly place to visit. A friendly park and so very enjoyable to see and talk to people or to walk quietly with your headset on. Plenty of parking both paid and free. Clean and hopefully the food service facility will open soon. Rentals of boats, bikes and other equipment makes the lake so accessible for exploring.

a year agoWhat a beautiful day for a walk and what a beautiful path around the lake! The only downfall was that there were porta potties only on one side of the lake, So when we had to go to the bathroom, we had to walk halfway around the lake to get to the bathroom. I am sure as the weather warms up that they'll open the other restrooms as well but in the meantime plan ahead!

5 years agonicely laid out, lots of parking and clearly marked signage everywhere. There's a separate bike path than foot path, and lots of recreational activities including biking and kayaking, with both available for rental. lots of families everywhere, people were putting up hammocks between the many trees and falling asleep in them. There is food available to purchase, big place to sit and eat and enjoy the view of the lake.
