Lakeside Bike Park

We all had a blast. I was more in the trails with my 5 yr old. Too many people to teach her on the ranks and stuff. Best family out door fun ever. Check it out.. I promise someone in your family if not all will love it too.

This rating reflects the positive effect getting out of the house had on my over all mood and mind set. This spot was chosen by chance. If it's mid winter, in Buffalo NY, you're probably spending too much time inside. COVID has a lot more of us working from home (or not having work at all), it takes its toll on the spirit. Unplanned mid day outting w our pups... Didn't worry if we weren't wearing the right shoes or how cold it was...30 mins... Nature is magic. Get out and play - responsibilities of adulting will still be there when you're done.

What a great new addition to the outer harbor. We went late on a Sunday evening so I believe the bike rentals were closed. I was with my toddler on a balance bike so we stuck to the smaller kids track directly to the left, and then tried out the pump track which was a little more difficult for him (to the right as you are walking in). The kids track was perfect for him (he's 3 years old with moderate skill). He was able to drop down on the ramps and get a feel for the small bumps and bridges. If you're a parent, it's easy enough to hang out on the sides while they ride and there are some tables/vending machines available. The pump track was a little more difficult for him but nice to have something to work towards. We didn't get a chance to do the longer trails in the back but overall it was a great experience and highly recommend it.

My boys loved it here SO MUCH!! Free and fun, so many trails to explore plus lots of area for bike tricks and jumps.

The pump tracks and trails are awesome however there are wayyyy too many uncoordinated scooter kids just aimlessly scooting around getting in the way snaking everyone. Ripped my hand wide open today having to avoid a few and almost had two more crashes bc the kids kept snaking me. This is not a damn daycare center. Maybe there should be an age limit (& no douchey scooters allowed)
