2 months agoI took a long walk to Lakewood on February 20th just because I wanted to look around, and to feel a sense of nostalgia, because it's where I spent the first few years of my life. After I was done with everything I wanted to do, I finished my adventure here at Lakewood Park. I've been here before in the warmer months, but seeing this place just shrouded in snow, and seeing Lake Erie completely frozen over and covered with snow, it was a whole different experience. I would always recommend coming here, no matter the weather. Just make sure to be prepared for it. I will definitely be back in the summer. :)

9 months agoAbsolutely beautiful park! Fabulous place to enjoy a walk through park on pathways or down the ramp for lake view (no lake access to water). The pathways and ramp are handicapped accessible. The park includes a fantastic swimming pool, skate park, playground area, volleyball courts, picnic areas, bench swings with lake view, and wonderful paved walkways throughout park and along lake view at top and at bottom accessed by ramp ( water level) The solstice steps are a popular spot for viewing the sunset.

9 months agoThis park is spectacular. 😍 views of Cleveland from the west sides perspective. The solstice steps might be one of the best spots on Lake Erie to view our gorgeous lake sunsets. There are plenty of places to have picnics. I do know they have pavilions available to use, though I have never personally used them. The playground is newer and very clean. They have very nice tennis courts and new pickle ball courts. A skate park, pool, and many awesome walking trails . I can't say enough about this gem of a park. They even have live music on Sunday evenings! If there is anything that they could improve on, its the parking availability. Although it's a good sign if it's hard to find a place to park.
