Large Cats

One of my favorite buildings in the zoo. Check out the lions, tiger, caracals, pumas, and snow leopard here. Added bonus, there is an armadillo over here as well. From inside there is a good view of the tiger’s enclosure throughout, and two fully interior enclosures to view. Snow leopard and cougar enclosures can be viewed from indoor and outdoor locations. Lions cannot be viewed from indoors, but there is a great elevated walkway around their area for watching. A must see area at the Como Zoo.

My favorite part of the zoo. Saw some Amur Tigers, witch there are only 600 in captivity, and around 450 in the wild. Glad to hear the populations growing. List of Animals: Cougar African Lion Snow Leopard Amur Tiger

Always a fun time at the Zoo. It's free, but let's remember nothing is really free. Think about the fun the kids & everyone has; toss some pocket money in if you're able / willing to show love.

This is from Como Zoo. It's one of my favorite places. It's small, intimate, but has a surprising amount of bio-diversity. I volunteer there, too. Come visit!
