a month agoPretty place nice walk. Had too early, and I had to go to the bathroom! PILEATED WOODPECKER! GOOD Pictures!

4 years agoA lovely 104 acre park near Huguenot and the river. In the autumn, the fall color was spectacular! There is a small, charming creek that runs through the park with trails that loop around. We saw lots of interesting fungi and plants on our hike. I would allow up to an hour and a half.

a month agoSuch a great park. Lots of small trails that connect the main loop, and tons of rocks and creeks to enjoy.

6 years agoHidden among the other more well known park systems like belle isle. This is easily my favorite. Medium and short hikes are available through wooded hills filled with fiddle head ferns in spring. A rocky creek runs through part of the trails great for pictures or relaxing. There are benches to sit on throughout the trails. Very scenic and secluded.

7 years agoVery enjoyable hike. Loved the tunnel. Could really use some blazings on the trails. The trailhead map is not very good. People, please keep your dogs on a leash - especially the aggressive, charge a stranger barking one's.
