💡Pro Tips from Reviews

  • If visiting with toddlers, call ahead or check for recent updates on the status of the 'small playground' as it was reported closed.
  • Arrive early or during off-peak hours if you prefer to secure parking in the small lot, otherwise, be prepared to utilize street parking.
  • Locate the functional drinking water fountain behind the baseball diamond if needed, as noted by one reviewer.
  • Consider visiting during weekdays for a more peaceful experience, as implied by a reviewer enjoying 'a small peaceful walk during the week'.

Things to Consider

  • The small playground intended for younger children was reported as 'closed' by one reviewer; parents with toddlers should verify its operational status prior to visiting.
  • One decorative fountain was noted to have 'no water this year', which might impact aesthetic appeal.
  • Parking is described as 'not ample' by some, although street parking is often available, its sufficiency can vary depending on the day and time.

Price & Value

Not mentioned in reviews. Assumed to be a free public park, offering excellent value for outdoor family entertainment.

Accessibility & Special Needs

  • No specific accessibility accommodations (e.g., sensory-friendly hours, staff training) are mentioned in the reviews.
  • However, the presence of large, open green spaces might offer general accessibility for mobility devices.

🍎Food & Drink Policy

  • Outside food and drinks are encouraged, with picnic tables and a clean BBQ area readily available for use by visitors.

🚗Parking Info

  • A small dedicated parking lot is available on-site.
  • Ample street parking is also available, though its availability can fluctuate depending on the specific day and time of the visit.
  • Parking is generally described as 'not ample' but 'often available', suggesting that while not vast, it's usually manageable.

👥Crowd Levels

  • Weekdays appear to be quieter, suitable for 'peaceful walk[s]'.
  • No specific mentions about crowd levels during weekends or peak hours, but parking comments suggest it can get busy.

🛡️Safety Features

  • The park is consistently described as 'very clean', suggesting good general upkeep.
  • No specific safety measures such as staff supervision of play areas, first aid stations, or wristband systems were mentioned in the reviews.

When to Avoid

  • If an operational, dedicated playground for toddlers is a critical requirement, avoid visiting without first confirming the status of the 'small playground' due to its reported closure.
  • If you anticipate difficulty finding parking or prefer guaranteed spots, weekend afternoons might be more challenging due to potentially higher visitor numbers and limited dedicated parking.

Beautiful park with lots of tennis courts and a playground. There is no water in the fountain this year.

What a beautiful park, with things to do for all. You can stroll through the park or eat at a picnic table as a single. You can walk your dog, watch your kids on the play structure or relax while watching the water (there’s a pond). Parking > there’s a small parking lot and ample street parking (depending on day/time of the week).

So much room at this park to spread out. The two playgrounds have a lot of specs for the kids to run around. Lots of grass for frisbee and soccer. Parking is not ample, but often available. Look for the water fountain behind the baseball diamond.
