a month agoAlthough I do have young children, I am on a trip without them this week and wanted something to do in Vegas that wasn't a casino. I came across a discounted ticket for the natural history museum through a third party site for $9 and decided to go. As a solo adult it took me about an hour to walk through all the exhibits. I imagine if I would have had my children with me, it would have been closer to 3 hours. I found each exhibit interesting, but especially enjoyed the replica of King Tut's tomb. The museum staff were all very nice and it was also super cool to meet an archeologist in the lab downstairs working on fossils. Overall I'd highly recommend coming here, with or without children :)

5 months agoThe museum seem small but it have everything that we want to explore and learn. There are actitivies to play with such as sand building, earthquake block buidling, color and scan your dinosaur, feed dinosaur, farming like egyptian, more. Fun quiet relaxing time to get away from the noisy strip during the day.

4 months agoThe volunteers that they have here are great! This is a fun museum with lots to read about and I’d have to say it’s definitely for bigger kids like 3+ only because some areas are immersive and can get spooked. But who knows, maybe a 2 year old would enjoy being spooked lol.

9 months agoThis is a perfect place to explore and learn. They have so many things to learn about from grassland animals, sea life, birds, dinosaurs, Egyptians,African knowledge and much more. Very nice setup they even have many things for kids to play with and hear some of the animals. Very educational and perfect to beat the heat. They have restrooms, decent amount of parking and even a park. Hospitality was a 5 star. Most definitely recommend for all ages.

11 months agoA nice place to beat the heat for part of an afternoon in Vegas. Probably great for kids who are into natural history. We have an ASTC membership (at an out of state museum), and this place honors the reciprocity program. But our membership card does not have an expiration date and the front desk employee made me call them and give her the phone to confirm the expiration date. I wish she could have just called herself if they wanted to verify.
