We visited last week for our sons’ birthdays. It was easy to walk to from the MBTA and there were lots of other great stores nearby. When we walked in, it was bright and exciting. Andrew the staff helped us twice (check in to park and checking out with Lego purchases) and he was fantastic! The lego city was amazing! We did ride and some other little events. The kids with me were just about 9, 15 and 15. I think this is geared more towards toddlers and young elementary students but each boy found something to do. A couple things we learned by surprised was that they do not accept cash and they’re not a “Lego store.” We had pre-purchased a lego gift card for the shop which we could not use. We were originally super overwhelmed because we had brought cash but this is where Andrew came in. He helped us use their cash to card kiosk, helped us sign up for a lego account and he made my moment of panic (boys had already picked out birthday Legos that were waiting for payment) completely go away. He was fun, knowledgeable and definitely helped in the moment of embarrassment when our planned payment methods were not accepted. Thank you so much for this! The boys have since built their Legos and they enjoyed themselves.

This Lego discovery is so much fun!! I think age is probably best for ages between 2 and 10. I went on a Wednesday, so there's no wait to get in. Keep in mind that younger children who are not 4'3 "tall can't go on the ride. For VR experience, children need to be at least 40-inch tall as well. Both my 3 years old had a blast! Can easily spend 3 to 4 hours there. They had a blast! Do see a few attractions or things that need to be fixed or renewed tho. Do understand that any business involved with kids will need lots of maintenance.. but being Lego? I'm definitely expecting more, updated, and well maintained areas.

We went as a family on a Tuesday after school. The kids had a blast. They didn't want to leave. They really enjoyed the soft kids play place, the Quest Ride, the Laser Room, Make Your Rocket . So much fun. They said it was amazing.

Great place for kids that love Legos or just want to experience something new. Activities for all ages. Cafeteria ok food not the best. There are different ticket packages but even the basic package includes the 4d movies. In addition to all the cool Lego areas there's a lazer escape game and a jungle gym type of things for kids to run around in. Some stamp stations and buttons on the displays were not working as expected but a great time highly recommend.

I was expecting a much larger entertainment center when I visited the Lego Discovery Center in Somerville, and the fact that it's located smack dab in the midst of the retail shops was the first giveaway that it wasn't what I anticipated. I was expecting more of a stand-alone Target or Home Depot type building, not a downtown Boston Primark building setup. It takes me longer to leave Primark than it did the LEGO Discovery Center. Essentially, for an expensive visit, there wasn't much for my 12-year-old goddaughter to do. We completed the virtual reality, rode the ride, did the 4D movie, and ate at the concession area, all within an hour. The activity classes are spaced out, which is good in theory, but the next session was 30 minutes later, and my goddaughter didn't want to stick around. The price point for this should be $20 for adults and $15 for kids.
