a year agoVisited here as a guest of a member and I was blown away. This place is massive and has everything. Upon entering there is a front desk and a cafe, then there is rock climbing, several pools, hot tubs, steam room, sauna, kid facility, cycling room, pickle ball and gym equipment plus more. The staff was welcoming, professional and I saw active cleaning happening. I legit was in heaven and the large windows with gorgeous views of Vegas were icing on the cake. The process to bring guests was seamless and I remember thinking, “I could live here”. I didn’t want to leave. I hope to come back again and I would definitely recommend others to come as well. My visit here truly made my day! Thank you! I also laughed out loud when I saw “no guns allowed”… sad you need a sign for this but I guess the people need to know.

6 months agoLifetime Summerlin has been a huge disappointment. Despite already charging a premium, they continue to nickel and dime members by adding ridiculous costs for basic amenities like lounge access and fitness classes. The final straw for me, however, was the dismissive and unprofessional behavior of one employee, Lisa. When I inquired about why regular members can’t play pickleball during the day, I discovered there was absolutely no communication about this change—no signs, no notifications, not even a note on their app. Instead of addressing my concerns respectfully, Lisa’s attitude was arrogant, making it clear she thought this gym was only for those willing to shell out extra cash. Lifetime seems more focused on squeezing as much money as possible from its members while providing less and less in return.

2 months agoThis Lifetime Fitness location does not meet the expectations for the clientele it seeks to serve. The lighting is inadequate, with harsh overhead fluorescent lights that create an uncomfortable environment and make the space feel more like a display than a welcoming fitness center. Parking is also a significant issue. It often takes 20 minutes to find a decent spot, and it is disappointing to see exotic cars occupying the handicapped spaces, especially when they are reserved for individuals with needs. As someone who also owns exotic cars, I find this behavior in poor taste. These people are in the gym and clearly not in need of the spaces. The cleanliness of the facility is lacking, with bathrooms and gym areas in need of better upkeep. Most weight rooms have an age requirement. There’s also a large amount of underage kids allowed to workout in the weight room. In conclusion, this location fails to deliver on the high standards expected by its target audience. It would greatly benefit from improvements in both staff management and the overall facility experience.

a month agoI will never visit this particular club, as a former member from another club I came in to buy a drink however the front desk women acted as if we were going to STEAL something. They wouldn't allow us to buy a drink from the cafe. It's so unfortunate how we were treated because we truly love lifetime fitness. The older woman looked and acted so RACIST. I am a black nurse and I treat every patient with love and kindness.

10 months agoWe liked the selection of equipment , classes and the large size of the facility. -overcrowded (wait in line to use equipment) -place feels very dated -staff isn't very accommodating (your paying Ritz pricing for motel service) -need to be better at keep up on fixing broken things like equipment, speakers, AC, general finishes -kids section has the hand/foot/mouth virus often, both my kids got it (they need to find a better solution)... baby had 102 fever, toddler had 105 fever off and on for days. Once we were all better we went back... week before our last date and one of our friends just text us her son got the Hand Foot Mouth (super annoyed because I'd like to use gym i paid for ... but can't go back since kids will just get sick again) -pool area is usually not open for kids till 10 AM... during the summer sucks because it gets SO HOT! -the baby area gets booked up constantly so u have to be super on it to get times you'd like -you get charged extra for cabanas during the summer months (we already have a membership fee why the extra charge???) -membership has gone up every year. Two years ago we started at $160 now it's up to $300 for one person, $75 per kid -parking is packed a lot -the elevator in parking lot was out for a while and having two kids it wasn't great walking the parking lot all the way down and up We moved from OC, were Equinox members at all 3 locations there and were looking for a similar lifestyle gym, Lifetime did not meet that.
