5 months agoFantastic park. Not very big on asphalt but huge everywhere else. 5 minute walk on boardwalk to the beach. The trail is up by the entrance. Also for the gift shop with the local inhabitants (see my pictures) its at the ranger station where you pay . 5 bucks gets you in, it was a wonderful way to spend Thanksliving day for us. P.S. If you are into getting state stamps like I am, you hit the jackpot here because there are 7!!!! Safe travels

6 months agoPeaceful natural shoreline. Park Rangers are friendly and helpful. The facilities are well maintained and clean. This is a rustic Florida beach state park. Minimal amenities but ideal for a quiet beach day. If you have a car full of rowdy youngsters please take them elsewhere. They’ll be bored at Little Talbot. Great beach for adults and well behaved children. Plan on a short hike from parking areas to the beach. Likewise plan on a 5-10 minute walk to bathroom and shower. The beach faces northeast so check the weather forecast for winds if you own a flimsy beach umbrella.

a month agoSuch a gem discovered north of Jacksonville beaches. Only $5 per vehicle. Plenty of parking. There’s access to clean bathrooms/flush toilets, vending machines, and they even have pavilions for chillin and bbq grills to use for cookin:) this will be our go to spot in Jax!!

2 months agoBeautiful and more importantly UNCROWDED. I enjoy hiking the shaded trail and ending with a walk on the beach. On the hiking trail, there are a few benches throughout just in case you need a break.

6 months agoThis was our spot this past summer for swimming & kayaking! Driving up on the beach was smooth every time . Clean sand / area , not as crowded- usually not crowded at all honestly . Water is a little more darker than of Atlantic Beach or Huguenot but the kids & us adults enjoyed it!
