2 years agoWe really enjoyed the living northwest trail largely in part to the brown bear yearlings being so active. Juniper was the star of the bear pool. The eagles were on an egg, so that area is closed off right now (April ‘23), but you can still peak through the windows on the doors to get an obstructed view. The wolves, otters, snow owls, and lynx were all out enjoying the day. No signs of the elk or mountain goats. Great information center about living with nature in the PNW. Beautiful works from the original people of the PNW. Some areas are teaming with unattended youth, so watch your step.
