This was our first time visiting the museum and our 5-year-old absolutely loved all the activities—his favorites were the pretend play kitchen and water play. They have a beautiful outdoor space where parents can relax while the kids play. He didn’t want to leave and is already asking to come back! This place was a highlight of our NOLA trip. You can easily spend a whole day here—explore the museum, take a stroll through the nearby sculpture garden, stop by cafe du Monde and soak in the beauty of the oak trees.

I love taking my boys to children museums! It's fun for the entire family. We were visiting the area and found this one. It sits on Beautiful land with a lake out front. There is a Cafe on one side. I was able to order fruit& a glass of wine to sit out by the water.

My 7 year old and my 9 year old had a blast!! We stayed 4.5 hours until closing but would have loved to stay longer. Their favorites were the water activity and the beads. It was however pricy, but loads of fun!!

Great museum with lots of activities for kids. They also have a large outdoors area where kids can explore and play in the shade. They are missing some old time favorite activities from their previous location on Julia St. but overall it is a fun place for children and parents alike.

We really enjoyed visiting this children's museum with our children ages 10, 8, and 5. The exhibits were well designed and allowed for a lot of open-ended play and exploration. I'm a teacher and my husband is a play therapist, so we place a high value on quality play opportunities; this place fits the bill!
