2 months agoI'm giving 2 stars because when I arrived we were the only family, the worker was very kind to me and my children. She even helped me with my double stroller. Then my son wet his pants and we had to go get a change of clothes and returned within 30 minutes. When we arrived this time, there were 2 additional families. This time, the worker didn't even say a word, didn't offer help, she didn't even look up or say bye when I left. Now, this is only an issue because she was noticeably different towards me this 2nd time as if we didn't just have a great connection moments before. Keep in mind we are a black family, and this worker as well as the 2 other families were White/Hispanic. I know micro aggression when I see it. I'm a licensed clinical social worker. My heart is saddened that my beautiful family was not welcomed in public, only privately. If you are a black family please reconsider bringing your bucks here. The kindness is conditional.

5 years agoChecked out this new indoor playground that just opened up. It’s $12 for one kid and $8 for additional kiddo. Of note, you need to wear socks in the play area , if you forget socks, they have some for sale for a buck. The place is super clean and there’s enough to keep the kids busy. We were there in the morning but more kids started trickling in around 11 am. We spent 3 hours here. You can bring snacks but they have to be eaten in the table area. Overall, my 3 year old had a great time. We will visit again.

3 months agoHi all, I would like to express my concerns regarding the recent experiences my two-year-old daughter and I had here. I agree both with the unprofessionalism/ and cleanness of the place. Unfortunately, I found the behavior of the front desk staff, particularly the mother and daughter owners, to be discourteous. Having purchased a month pass, we visited on a Saturday during the posted hours of 10 AM to 6 PM. We arrived shortly after 10:30 AM to find the doors still closed. This was terribly disappointing for both my daughter and I, as we had planned this visit and were there according to their hours. When we returned another day and I inquired about the situation, I was informed by the daughter that her mother had “arrived at 11 am that day.” I believe it is important for a business to adhere to its stated hours of operation. Her response was, “we are people too.” This was disheartening, as it seemed to disregard the importance of providing reliable service to their customers as well as a lack of care. It was unfortunate that we paid for time we were unable to utilize, and this experience has led us to decide not to return in the future. I will say, we had a pleasant experience every time Rosa was at the front desk, who should be running the place.

2 years agoOkay, but there are better places to go. For example, the Kids Play Cafe is better on every metric, including price. Pros: *Good variety of equipment for the kids to play in. *Nice colors and decor *Car slide was a big hit with my kids *Trampoline provideds good exercise *Not too busy. *Not too loud . Most of the kid's places sound like a rock concert and this was more calming. *Opens earlier than most of the competition. I still haven't figured out why a lot of these places don't open until 11. It's like they don't want our annoying kids there all day. Cons: *Expensive! This is the most expensive place in town. If you have multiple kids, this is NOT the place for you. Kids Play Cafe and Jungle Party House are cheaper and have a lot more to do. *Not a day pass! I was shocked to find out that we couldn't leave to eat and come back. Besides being the most expensive place in town, they also won't let you return in the same day. Or, even same time frame. The only place in town with this policy and it does not feel customer-centric. *Lack of Seating. When I came in there was no place for me to sit. Went seating did become available, the chairs that they do have are metal and uncomfortable. Really only makes sense as a parent to go to a place like this if it's going to be a reprieve and a comfortable place to relax while the children have fun. Again, I'm having a hard time seeing how this business operates the customer in mind. It would be nice if they had a couch or softer seating available, as well as additional seating. *No Water and refreshments. Make sure to bring your home water and pack your own food. This is the only location I have found that does not have a water fountain for the kids. And, keep in mind that you can't leave to go get food and come back because they're going to charge you full price again. *No arts and crafts. This isn't really a negative, because they are doing a decent job of utilizing most of the space. But, it should be noted that other places have this available, like the Jungle Party House. *Carousel is a bit of a dud and takes up a lot of space. Once upon a time, the carousel was in operation, but now the parents have to turn it by hand. This is not that big of a deal, but I didn't see any kids playing on it and it does take up a lot of space. It makes me wonder if this is best utilization of space. Overall our experience was okay, but we didn't walk away thinking to ourselves we can't wait to come back. Again, there are so many other places in town that are more cost effective and provide a lot more activities and within the same vicinity.
