2 weeks agoAn outstanding environment for kids to be creative. We brought a 9 year old and two 7 year olds. They all stayed busy the entire time we were here - over four hours. They built rockets, painted, did pottery and created all sorts of other items. Not one sibling fight. It was amazing. At $6 per person, it is a good value. We visited during a weekday. There was no waiting and it was reasonably chill. If only it had a bar for the adults!

a month agoParking is close on the side of the building and some street parking. Either take the stairs or elevator to the second floor. There is a nice open space for kid activities. There are many duplicate items/activities you can find at the main Magic House. It was a great way to get out and play on a rainy day.

a month agoThis is one of the coolest hidden gems in St. Louis. It's a smaller area than the Magic House, but it's a large open space on the second floor of the building, so you can have multiple kids with different interests and keep an eye on them all. The tools and resources available are really cool. If you have kids that love to craft or use their imagination, this is a spot you have to check out! Other than admission, everything is free to use/create, if you want some of the specialty items (to 3D print your design, use the kiln for your pottery piece, laser cut bigger items, etc.) than it costs extra $, but is reasonable. And you can still do all the things without that (kids can create with clay and still take it home wet, they allow you to laser cut a small recycled item, etc.). We went on a Friday and it was not crowded. My kids, ranging from 4yo to 10yo, loved it and I had fun watching them! They also offer free admission for active duty military families. We highly recommend and will be back!

8 months agoIf your children like to create, this is the place. This was my oldest granddaughter's favorite of all the places we visited in St. Louis. There are so many stations and possibilities for creating from clay, sewing, robotics, game design, puzzle making, to so many more. The price is right too at only $6/person. Adult chaperones can create too! I highly recommend this experience!

a month agoMy 8 and 10 year olds loved this place. We stayed four hours and only left because they were closing. It's only $7.50/person and lots to do. There are a few things that cost extra, but we had plenty to do without that
