3 years agoDuring our first visit here at the Modern, we took a sneak peek inside this wonderful venue, in anticipation of their upcoming movie schedule, and their Chamber Music Series. We're smarter than we look, because we actually came back...and to watch a foreign film, while we dined right next door prior! What a fantastic venue, the acoustics are incredible, the audience, well behaved and kind of essentric with their fashion choices too! Loved that part. We viewed the Norwegian movie, "the worst person in the world", and totally enjoyed it. The language, scenery, culture, and yes.... those subtitles too! Felt kinda like we traveled...and with no Rick Steves! Fantastic venue!

a year agoThank goodness the Modern shows brand new art house films every weekend. We like to have dinner in the museum dining room and then go to the 8 o’clock show on Friday nights.
