a week agoMain event is a fun place to go with the family, but you pay a high price to do it. This location has bowling, pool, laser tag, an arcade, and gravity ropes. It seems like a lot at first but it runs out fast. The arcade is also insanely high prices, so you'll spend a fortune if you want to play for very long outside of an unlimited pass. Even so you'll definitely have fun if you come here. For bowling, everything went well, but it's quite frustrating you can't expand your time when you haven't finished a game. And when we were there, there was no line, they just wouldn't let it carry over so we lost our scores in the 9th frame. In later sessions we learned to just play one game and walk away. The laser tag was probably their best event. The playing field is pretty decent. It could be bigger but it works. The pool tables are nice. Easy to just get a rack of balls and play a game for an hour. The arcade is stupid expensive. Even in these days of super high prices, this facility is really expensive. The price is higher than almost all competitors. They also have a very annoying price increase in the afternoon, so all the games go up in cost. We were playing the big games and waiting to do arcade later in the day and we lost out on a huge amount of play time because we didn't know about this pricing scam. The gravity ropes were fun but the customer service was horrible. The workers didn't even show up until five o'clock and it took them thirty minutes to even get started even though we were told they would be ready at four. The attitudes of the employees were awful. The shining light of our visit was the food and drink, both in food quality and service. Everything we ate was really good. The drinks, including some custom ones, were done very well. Advice for a visit is go and either just do events on an all pass, or just do arcade on all pass. You'll have a lot more fun breaking it up that way and you'll save a huge amount of money. And if you're hungry, it's a great place for some grub any time!

a week agoI am VERY disappointed with the party my daughter had here today and we only had 7 kids too. Our host was Dani. She served us terribly made "smashburger" sliders that were closer to meatball sliders, my daughter was supposed to have a birthday Sundae that was made with only a portion of the toppings and looked NOTHING like the picture and it wasn't with the correct ice cream either. Didn't refill drinks. She was unwilling to help us move tables and suggested we sit in the bowling alley. She rushed to move the kids onto laser tag early before our time was up. Nobody was booked at our tables until 2 hours later and we were told we had to move anyway. A waitress also denied us a place to sit explaining to me the seating is for walk ins only not the people that already paid 400 dollars. On a good note the manager seemed shocked the waitress did that and immediately got us sat. Also all the games were working properly so that was great. I definitely feel like we were cheated regarding the food and ice cream as well as a surcharge for having the party which is basically a host fee. Even with the poor service I still did tip and only got met with attitude and just setting all the ice cream on the table not even putting it in front of the diners that paid for it and to me that gesture with the attitude was very disrespectful. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place for a birthday party. Pictured is the "smashburger" sliders. Unfortunately I don't have a picture of the sundae that was wrong

3 months agoThis was such a fun stop for our family. I’m glad we decided to spend our family day here. I can’t believe we’d never been before considering we’re always looking for fun ways to interact with our teenagers. The place is huge and set up so well. I loved that everything wasn’t all bunched in your face right at the entry door and you could actually walk in without being slammed with people and all that chaos. The location was clean and well thought out I thought. We saw they offered a great special on Sunday with the All Day pass for under $23 a person. This included bowling, laser tag, billiards and their rope activity (up/bove) I can’t remember what it was called sorry…if you’d like to also play the arcade games that is extra to purchase the card/tokens. We decided to make an afternoon of it so we ordered both the passes for us all and tokens. You schedule your activities and they let you know when it’s your turn. Bowling was so fun and yes shoes are included in the price. My kids got a kick out of billiards and even more enjoyment kicking our butts in the two story laser tag room. We played a good amount of arcade games as well then took a break to get some drinks and share some hot wings and fries. I like that they have servers who come to you in the bowling area as well as the bar/food area. We’ve been to all the places nearby and this one seemed to not only be the best bang for your buck, but food was good and we literally spent five hours plus inside. That says a lot because teenagers are hard to keep attentive at times. Service was pretty good though our server was a bit slow getting to us for refills etc even when we were right near him at the bar area. Great stop.

a month agoWe had a lot of fun here. We brought my daughter and her best friend here for her bday. I bought the deal $24 Monday to Thursday they can bowl (minus the shoes), pool, laser tag, and gravity (not sure exactly what this is called but it's like a gymnasium). Anyways the girls had lots of fun and we also played at the arcade. Surprisingly, the food was also very good. We had wings, fries, pretzel sticks, and Mac n chesse

3 months agoWe just had my daughter’s 10th birthday at Main Event in Avondale. We had so much fun! Food was actually really good, we had pizza and wings, the service was also incredible and very attentive. They bowled, went bowling, played laser tag, and did the games and gravity. This was our first time, so we will definitely be back as I was impressed!
